Film description
In Footsteps Maddin watches the Foley company artists working on the score of his film Brand Upon the Brain! (2006). This is not an ordinary documentary, it's rather a docu-fantasy, so typical of this artist. Footsteps is a record of an alchemist's session with such elements as: shoes fastened to sticks, spanks on naked buttocks, kisses on a horse's croup or a hammer and a metal plate. A mysterious mixture of sounds opens the door of the world of Brand Upon the Brain! (ar)
