About the event
The band Zagar is a leading representative of the Hungarian rock and electronic scene. Their unique music is based on hard electronic sounds and romantic melodic themes, but you can find echoes of the late 1960s' psychedelic sounds, too. The five members of the band perform live, supported by guest vocalist George Ligeti. They perform outside Hungary often: in the Netherlands, Austria, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Russia and elsewhere. They played in Cieszyn, too, at the 5th ENH Festival. During their performances visual art projecting is used to connect Russian avantgarde films with modern cinema and surrealism. Zagar's tunes has been incorporated into short and feature films and their tracks appear several times in popular TV series like CSI as well. Their new album, Cannot Walk Fly Instead will be released this fall world wide.
