About the event

Deadbeat is a solo music project by Scott Monteith, one of the best known artists of the modern global electro scene. For years, he has been regularly invited to leading electronic music festivals, such as Sonar (Barcelona), Transmediale (Berlin), or Mutek (Montreal), and his experiments focus on techno, house and dub. He has made about a dozen singles on gramophone records, including Disaster in the Dancehall, Preliminary Findings or the latest, Take me Back to London Town of 2008. He spent four years working for Applied Acoustics Systems, a company involved in the production of high-quality software for synthesizers.
